About Us

Alghazy Transport & Trading is a Syrian–Arab company specializing in shipping and transporting goods of all types and loads — whether partial or full — using all possible means of transport from Syria to destinations worldwide, by land, sea, or air. The company was established in 2002 under Syrian Investment Law No. 10 / 1992, and is headquartered in Damascus, the world’s oldest continuously inhabited capital and the cradle of civilizations.

Over the years, our company’s activities and operations have grown and expanded across all Syrian governorates, as well as internationally. Today, Alghazy proudly operates in and through multiple countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Alghazy executes all shipping operations in accordance with both local and international standards, relying on highly qualified and professionally trained staff and the latest automated and technological systems. Every step — from receiving, storing, packaging, loading, and shipping to unloading and delivery — is handled with precision and care to ensure safe and timely delivery of all kinds of goods, regardless of size or destination. History of our company

2000 - 2007

The company was founded in early 2000 by Khaled Walid Al-Ghazi and focused on international shipping of full loads of goods from Syria to the Gulf countries only. The average number of shipments per year reached 600 overland shipments.

2007-2012

The company expanded in 2007 with over 21 branches across major Syrian cities for domestic shipping and more than 6 international branches in the Gulf and Middle East. It handled over 9,000 domestic shipments and more than 800 international shipments for leading Syrian and Arab manufacturers and traders.

2012-2018

Amid the Syrian popular revolution during this period and the damage inflicted on many Syrian governorates, the company's operations were reduced in most major governorates. International shipping remained the focus, with an average of 420 full commercial shipments annually exported to various Gulf and Middle Eastern countries.

2018-2024

In 2018, the demand for Syrian products began to increase due to the dispersal of Syrians across the globe. This necessitated opening new shipping destinations, most notably the European Union. The demand for air freight also increased, and the company became a major player in the import and export air freight sector between Syria and the EU, handling an average of 180 air shipments annually, while continuing its land freight operations for full loads to various countries worldwide.

2024-2025

Following the victory of the Syrian popular revolution in late 2014, the signs of a modern renaissance began to emerge in Syria. This prompted Al-Ghazi Foundation to embark on this modern Syrian renaissance and begin expanding its operations, destinations, and branches with several local and international centers around the world. Through these centers, we aspire to provide the best services to our clients to improve the reality of Syrian logistics services.
